Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD) Intern -2025

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support project team delivering on-going green building certification & sustainability projects.
  • Prepare calculations and simulations for green building compliances such as ACMV total system efficiency, lighting power budget, embodied carbon calculation etc.
  • Perform other ESD analysis e.g., PV systems, solar energy analysis, Sunpath, wind analysis, green costs & ROI studies, ETTV calculations, GnPR and other aspects relating to ESD.
  • Conduct research for developing bespoke sustainability and net zero energy and carbon strategies for specific projects and case studies.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical reports and presentations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure ESD goals align with architectural and engineering objectives.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree (graduate/pursuing) in Mechanical/Electrical/Building services engineering or equivalent.
  • Proficient in using CAD, Revit, Rhino, IES VE and other relevant software tools.
  • Knowledge in sectors such as green building, energy efficiency standards, carbon management etc.
  • Knowledge of LEED, Green Mark will be advantageous.
  • Knowledge in building energy modelling, Life Cycle Assessment will be advantageous.
  • Professional proficiency in both written and oral communication (English).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for sustainability and a desire to contribute to a greener future.
  • Ideally available for 4-6 months full time.
