We are looking to hire a solar/wind/waste to energy specialists to work on concept and detail design and/or energy enablers like BESS, microgrid/smart grid.
Responsibilities
Working with our local and international teams. You will be someone that can connect the dots in addition to conducting research and data analysis such as climate analysis, geographical context, renewable resources availability in the region and linking it to energy generation and consumption/demand.
- Assist the Team Lead in the performance of their duties;
- Carry out design calculations;
- Produce sketch drawings;
- Coordinate with BIM team for production of drawings;
- Prepare technical reports and presentations;
- Ensure compliance with project Design Criteria/Client Brief/Approved Concept;
- Ensure compliance with relevant design standards;
- Ensure quality and accuracy of designs;
- Offer suggestions to assist in the efficiency of works;
- Check documentation complies with design;
- Attend design, clients, architects and site meetings;
- Ensure compliance with program constraints and budget;
- Ensure compliance with ISO Quality Procedure Manual;
- Be fully familiar with codes and local Authorities requirements;
- Formalize standards for specifications, drawings etc. in conjunction with Team Lead;
- Resolve any technical problems faced during the project design and/or construction stages;
- Investigate and recommend on renewable energy system selection;
- Handle all correspondences including reports, technical specifications, and other technical documents relating to projects;
- Provide technical assistance to QS team for preparation of cost and quantity estimates;
- Any other duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the Team Lead.
- Working with software systems such as PVsyst, HOMER, Rhino, and Grasshopper
- Knowledge in other form of renewable energy technologies such as Geothermal, Tidal etc
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and other relevant codes & standards
- Knowledge of Computational fluid dynamics, building energy modelling are highlight appreciated.
Qualifications
- Relevant Bachelors degree or above
- Around 5 years’ experience
- Experience with software systems such as PVsyst, HOMER, Rhino, and Grasshopper
- Knowledge in other form of renewable energy technologies such as Geothermal, Tidal etc
- Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and other relevant codes & standards
- Knowledge of Computational fluid dynamics, building energy modelling are highlight appreciated
